Background:
We are currently working with a new agency that is approached med ed in a different way to the rest of the industry. Whilst we cannot go into too much detail here, the work they''re doing is innovative and is separate from brand plans and commercialisation. Although it is still early days, their workload has got to a point where we need to find an experienced account director to add to the ranks.
This agency is an offshoot of a pre-existing agency, so it''s not as if you''ll be joining a start-up, but it will have that small company feel to it. The remit of the role is broad. You will take a lead with client services activities, whilst also acting almost like a second-in-command to the individual that is heading up the new agency. So you can expect to be involved in all aspects of the business. As such we''re looking for someone that is motivated and enjoys their work. This role will ideally suit someone that has some good experience but is looking for a long-term development opportunity.
To be considered for this role it will be necessary to have a background working in account management within medical communications.
