Background:
An independent healthcare communications agency based in Sevenoaks, Kent is looking for an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and an Account Director due to significant recent new business wins. The successful candidates will work on European accounts with leading global pharmaceutical companies and will all report to the Client Service Director. In the Senior Account Manager and Account Director roles you will have line management responsibility for members of the account team.

For all roles, a BSc, or above qualification in a biological science is a requirement. For the Account Manager position you should have a minimum of 2 years experience within a healthcare communications agency and 3-4 years plus for the Senior Account Manager and Account Director roles. For all positions you will be expected to deliver projects effectively in a cost conscious manner and have excellent client liaison skills. You must have the ability to get to grips with therapy areas outside of your particular expertise quickly and meet deadlines. For the Senior Account Manager and Account Director role you must have the ability to lead and motivate your direct reports, grow your accounts organically and have sound financial awareness as it will be your responsibility to ensure that the accounts you work on meet their forecast, in addition you will work with the Managing Director and Client Service Director on new business pitches and should have experience in putting pitches together and have strong presentation skills.
