Background:
Our client is an international medical communications agency based in Berkshire that develops and produces a broad range of communications programmes and materials on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry. Working with their pharmaceutical clients, their activities include organising international symposia, developing educational programmes for physicians and patients, producing clinical trial investigator and participant support materials, and developing print/digital materials ranging from sales aids to peer-reviewed publications.
They are seeking an Associate Director level Medical Communication specialist to manage a team of client services and business development professions within the Medical Communications Division.
JOB ROLE:
The Associate Director will be accountable for the planning, execution and measurement of a portfolio of projects and programmes ensuring strategically-aligned, quality deliverables on time and within budget. They will have responsibility for securing and retaining business within existing and new customers and be financialy accountable for overall performance of the team including financial forecasting, revenue and profitability analysis and proactively initiating actions to maximize growth opportunities.
PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Relevant area and experience within the pharmaceutical industry or Med Communications agency/PR consultancy environment or equivalent
European knowledge would be required
