Associate Medical Editor

Business Type: Medical Communications Agency
Job Type: Medical Communication
Job Level: Entry Level
Position: Full Time
Salary: Excellent salary and benefits package
Location: UK - North West
Reference: CMCAME
Background:

CMC is a leading global medical communications agency with offices in Macclesfield, Glasgow and East Coast USA. We work on some of the most exciting healthcare products globally and provide a positive working environment for our staff.

We are looking to hire an Associate Medical Editor to work as part of our editing team, which is responsible for ensuring that all documents and products are delivered to the highest possible quality in terms of clarity, accuracy, style and consistency to meet client needs. This will involve proof-reading and editing, as well as liaising with internal and external colleagues on a daily basis.

As an Associate Medical Editor, you will receive regular training and support from your line manager, Senior Editors and account team members.

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines are essential. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual and a good communicator who can become an important part of the CMC team.

This role is ideal for either an experienced editor interested in getting into medical communications, or an aspiring editor with healthcare and scientific qualifications. We value a ‘can do’ attitude in our employees and in return we offer an excellent salary and benefits package, as well as a structured career pathway with fantastic opportunities for development and progression.
