Could you work as a medical writer in a well establishedindependent Medical Communications agency? An exciting opportunity has come up fora PhD/post doc to join one of the scientific writing teams in this successfulagency. We are looking for a candidate with great writing and communicationskills who’s also very enthusiastic and motivated.
This role will involve a variety of writing projects includingproduct monographs, review articles, articles for proceedings, advisory boardreports, newsletters, slide kits and notes, to name but a few. You will also beexpected to communicate regularly with clients and international key opinionleaders and have the opportunity to attend international meetings, whereappropriate. As a key member of the team, you will be under the direction ofthe senior members of the writing team and the Editorial Team Leader. This willgive you ample opportunity to develop within the company. If you are aconfident individual, who can demonstrate a high standard of writing and iswilling to develop further, this is the job for you!
You must be able to assimilate information quickly, especiallyin therapy areas outside of your particular expertise, to write clearly andwith scientific accuracy, to brief colleagues correctly and to have a good eyefor detail. The ideal candidate should be able to use Word and PowerPointeffectively.
