Background:
Our client is a Global Medical Communications agency based in the North West, and are now in a position to recruit a Client Service Director, or very commercially minded Scientific Director. They have the benefits of working in a manageable sized team as well as the large infrastructure and support of a global company.
This opportunity offers real flexibility to be creative around the medical communications programmes that you deliver, as it holds a strong entrepreneurial spirit to it. The ideal person will be a thought leader, and ideas provider. They offer solutions and innovative programmes to clients, rather than selling an adaptable off the shelf package. Therefore the right candidate needs to be a very strategic thinker, rather than someone who just turns the wheel every day.
Due to the seniority of this role, as well as the level of client liaison required, the ideal candidate needs to either be a senior medical communications leader already or a scientific director with a good commercial edge to them. The person needs to be able to communicate and lead internally as well as externally, and be able to adapt to change quickly.
