Clinical Research Nurses - Surrey

Background:

Our client is seeking experienced Research Nurses for an initial two month assignment. This is a 3 day per week position non shift pattern. You will be an NMC registered Band 6 nurse with research experience within Cardiovascular/ Stroke.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Collecting and recording accurate data according to strict protocols and Good Clinical Practice
Clinical procedures will include venepuncture/cannulation, vital signs, and drug administration, ECG recording and cardiac monitoring as well as collecting samples for analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Experience in stroke/cardiovascular research preferable
Registered Nurse Band 6, solid clinical research experience, and knowledge of regulatory systems
Computer literate, having used IT systems.
Basic Life Support, Advanced preferable.

PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Excellent communications skills
Good attention to detail
