Background:
Our client is a world leading independent biotechnology company aspiring to be the best human therapeutics company that discovers and develops important therapeutics, bringing meaningful improvement to the lives of people all over the world. They are now seeking a Statistician to join them on a 6 month contract basis.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Prepares analysis plans and writes detailed specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, tables, and figures
Communicates effectively with clients regarding statistical analysis issues
Interprets analyses and writes statistical sections of study reports
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Works under immediate supervision typically reporting to a supervisor or manager
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
MS degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field
Pharmaceutical or related statistical experience
SAS experience
Experience working with observational data beneficial
Therapy area of lipid lowering drugs (statins) , cardiac failure, and/or paediatrics experience would be an advantage
