Director Regulatory REACh - Germany

Director Regulatory REACh - Fragrances or any other REACh experience welcome. NonStop Recruitment is currently working closely with a leading Fragrance house who have a large market share and are currently within the top 5 of their market. With a focus not just on cosmetics, they are striving to move towards being the market leader and therefore have an investment focused on the Regulatory Compliance and R&D functions. R&D is a central element to this growth strategy which has already provided pioneering results and a strong product pipeline. THE POSITION Subsequently, the company now see a Director of REACh to lead global registrations. The position has particular focus on strategic compliance but provide a hands on approach where necessary. Therefore, you will manage REACh Projects and delegate within the team. In addition, you will be responsible for Registration dossiers for phase-in and non-phase-in substances. There will be a requirement for Consultancy management but more importantly interaction and representation with trade associations. This will also require liaison and ability to build relationships with regulatory authorities. As this is a global role, you will not just be confined to European Regulations but also work with Asia Pacific legislations. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will have Scientific degree. Regulatory Compliance / REACh experience - this must be sound and established experience within REACh at expert level. The candidate should have solid knowledge in dealing with authorities as well as customers and suppliers. Experience in SAP data management (EH&S, SVT, REACH Compliance Suite) would be an additional asset. Well-developed leadership and communication skills are of great importance.
