Experienced Medical Writer - Medical Education Agency, Shanghai

Business Type: Medical Communications Agency, Medical Education Agency
Job Type: Medical Writing and Editorial
Job Level: Not Specified
Position: Full Time
Salary: Exceptional with outstanding benefits!
Location: China
Reference: 306
A leading privately owned international medical education agency is looking for an experienced medical writer to join its team in the Shanghai office. Our client also has offices in the UK and US.

The role requires an experienced writer to generate high-quality scientific content for international medical education and communication programmes throughout East Asia. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent technical writing skills in a range of therapeutic areas, and will have agency experience in all major forms of medical communications including meetings, publications and digital media. A good biomedical degree is essential; candidates holding a PhD are preferred.

The position is likely to involve travel within East Asia. All of the writing will be in English language and knowledge of Mandarin is not required, although an interest in East Asia would be an asset. An initial secondment period of 6-months would be considered. This represents a rare opportunity to gain international experience in the world’s fastest-growing pharmaceutical market.

This is an opportunity with a leading medical education group that is continuously expanding due to new business wins. Our client offers an excellent package of salary and benefits including a generous pension provision, performance-related bonus and profit share.
