Background:
Based in the German speaking sector of Switzerland, you are responsible for the development, implementation and management of global category management in procurement, as well as the global supplier relationship management responsibility. You will also continue to lead the Asian sourcing office in Singapore and will be responsible for the development and management of future global LCC activities.
Your main tasks:
- Development of global suppliers and strategic management of supplier relationships
- Establishment and implementation of management processes for key global suppliers
- Support for global procurement in development projects
- Development and management of global transportation and logistics (inbound and outbound freight)
- Strategic procurement tasks for the spare parts and consumables business
- Support of the Global Operation improvement projects
- Conduct regular training of SCM tools and methods at all sites
Your profile:
- Basic technical training (Mechanical / Electronics), Bachelor''s / Master''s degree in technical discipline
- Business management training, training to become a certified. Buyer / Purchasing Manager or Process and logistics managers, training in SCM and Process Management
- Min. Five years of professional and management experience in international SCM / Materials Management
- Experience in a technology company with international locations, experience in the medtech industry an advantage
- Solid practical experience in matrix structures with diverse experience fundamental change projects, user knowledge of Lean and Lean operation processes
- Good user knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP, excellent MS Office user skills
- (Preferably) fluent in both German and English
As manager of global supply chain, you are self-reliant and self-reliance usual. The development and implementation of new concepts is one of your strengths and you also have good presentation skills at all levels.
