Background:
Our client, a leading global CRO, provides a comprehensive range of services in Phase I-IV clinical trials to the biopharmaceutical and device industries. They are currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a 12 month contract at their Dublin site.
JOB ROLE:
To Manage IT Infrastructure/Operation Projects for locations globally.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Plan, manage, monitor and implement IT Operations projects and related tasks on global initiatives
Report on the work of project teams to deliver solutions to meet functionality, quality, cost and timescales
Develop and maintain all necessary project documentation to meet requirements
Plan, organize, document, implement, coordinate and schedule all appropriate work and the development of assigned projects/tasks
Support the initial implementation of new systems to follow up and resolve issues
Plan and manage new system
Provide input and aide in the development of IT Operations Standard Operating Procedures
Attend technical conferences and seminars as appropriate
Research and recommend new project methodologies and strategies
Monitor status and completion time of all assigned projects
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Degree in computer related field
Project Management certification would be beneficial
Experience with MS Project, Visio and other tools to perform responsibilities
Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Professional presentation and documentation skills
