Our client, a leading global CRO, provides a comprehensive range of services in Phase I-IV clinical trials to the biopharmaceutical and device industries. They are currently seeking Pharmacology Programme Manager for their North West location.

The Pharmacology Programme Manager is responsible for the overall direction and management of projects through designated project managers, ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of process across projects and internal and external customer satisfaction with the projects.

Directing and providing day-to-day technical oversight to the Project Management function
Providing vision, leadership and mentorship to the department and organization
Accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of all regionally assigned programs/projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
Manage projects in accordance with the contract, agreed scope of work and in adherence with SOPs, ICH GCP and appropriate regulations
Manage a portfolio consisting of high complexity/high-profile, global, full-service, multi-center projects and the overall process of planning, scheduling and controlling the project from initiation to project closeout to ensure timely completion of the project in a manner that is consistent with the Project/Program Management role
Effectively manage resource capacity to ensure adequate coverage on projects.

In depth proven experience in the co-ordination of all aspects of study and project management
In depth proven experience in project management principles and applications
PMP preferred
Prior relevant field monitoring or relevant clinical experience

Strong customer service and presentation skills
Attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Computer application skills
Valid Drivers license
