Our client, a specialist global pharmaceutical company and innovative leader in pharmaceutical and health care research and development, is mainly concerned with development activities. They are seeking a Market Research & Information Manager for their Buckinghamshire site.

The Market Research & Information Manager supports business lines to facilitate enhancement of information based business decision making in high impact business and marketing strategies by pro-actively determining information needs and providing insights.

Planning and executing marketing research & information projects which are most appropriate for business needs.
Execution of annual project plans (primary research programme).
Managing ad-hoc project needs.
Managing vendors from design to delivery stages.
Undertake regular and ad-hoc market and business analyses by utilising all necessary sources to facilitate information based decision making for business and marketing teams.
Suggest improvements to the analyses and report formats to promote greater and more effective use of information.
Pro-actively design new monitors & ad-hoc analyses with changing business needs.

Proven experience in marketing research or marketing information.
Degree level or higher level qualification in Life sciences, Economics, or statistics.
Knowledge and understanding of primary and secondary research methodologies.
Knowledge and understanding of EAME Region Healthcare environment.
Strong statistical background and pharmaceutical marketing knowledge and experience are highly desirable.
Fluent in English and ideally in one other major European language.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong team player qualities.
Both strategic thinker and tactical, energetic, active and adaptable.
Pro-active, independent, high level of initiative.
Confident, with courage of own convictions and good influencing skills.
Availability to undertake business travel (e.g. for viewing qualitative research), typically 2-3 days, twice or three times each month.
