Medical Director, Clinical Sciences - London

Background:
The Medical Director will be responsible for but not limited to; * Leading the overall global strategy for clinical development, taking into consideration the medical, scientific and regulatory issues. * Leading multi-disciplinary team on a global level, whilst managing US and EU Development teams * Recommend and influence size, scope and budget of international programs * Take responsibility for key decision making criteria, inclusive of go/no go criteria of global clinical trials Skills & Experience * MD with 5 years experience in Clinical Research within a Pharmaceutical company or CRO * Previous experience leading Clinical development teams in a matrix environment * Therapeutic area knowledge, ideally PhD, however not prerequisite * Knowledge of local and international regulatory guidelines This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmaceutical Physician to lead global teams in the field of GI and work for an internationally renowned pharmaceutical company.
