Medical Director, Clinical Sciences - London

Background:
The Medical Director will be responsible for but not limited to; * Leading the overall global strategy for clinical development, taking into consideration the medical, scientific and regulatory issues. * Leading multi-disciplinary team on a global level, whilst managing US and EU Development teams * Recommend and influence size, scope and budget of international programs * Take responsibility for key decision making criteria, inclusive of go/no go criteria of global clinical trials Skills & Experience * MD with 5 years experience in Clinical Research within a Pharmaceutical company or CRO * Previous experience leading Clinical development teams in a matrix environment * Therapeutic area knowledge, ideally PhD, however not prerequisite * Knowledge of local and international regulatory guidelines This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmaceutical Physician to lead global teams in the field of GI and work wit a internationally renowned pharmaceutical company.
