Background:
I am currently recruiting for a very interesting mid-sized pharmaceutical company who are currently looking to expand their UK operations with a medical director to be responsible for UK medical strategy and budgets. This will be an exciting position which will be responsible for a team of 15 people and will report to the general manager for the UK. The role will cover both medical affairs and late stage clinical development activities for a broad portfolio of products and will have the responsibility for launching new products which are currently nearing submission.
For this role I am looking for a medical doctor with significant senior medical affairs experience and a history of working with oncology, neurology or endocrine products would be an advantage.
This position is offering a basic salary around £110-125,000 with a bonus scheme and company car/car allowance.
