Our client specialises in Healthcare Communications and they are currently seeking a Medical Writer to join their offices based in Oxford. A world leader in healthcare communications, building brands from pre-launch to post-patent, targeting all stakeholders from healthcare professionals to consumers. Beyond advertising and PR their services include medical education and clinical trial recruitment across a global network. A true world leader in the Medical Communication field.

JOB ROLE:
Provision of medical writing, editing and proof-reading services

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Writing, editing and proof reading services;
Writing primary manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide presentations, ad Board minutes;
Taking briefs directly from clients / other stakeholders;
Undertaking basic sub-editing and proof reading as required;
Conducting research for pitch / proposal preparation;

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Understands the medical and marketing issues relating to the client, product and therapy area;
Understands the role that medical education plays in the client''''''''s business environment;
Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry

PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EndNote, PubMed
Good communications skills
