Background:
Nonstop have an interesting opportunity for an experienced medical communications professional to use their scientific expertise in a leading strategic and business focused position as a Scientific Director.
Nonstop''s client is one of the larger and well established agencies which combines scientific experience and expertise with cutting edge deliveries including their own events and digital agency. They have several sub-agencies in the group and this role will be in one of their newer and more innovative agencies, which is growing quite rapidly. Therefore this will offer you the opportunity to be really take the lead in the scientific strategy and help the agency grow further.
This role will be in a team of medical and scientific services and client service professionals, and will predominantly focus on pipeline pharmaceutical products, products which are new to market, as well as established products. This will be an interesting and strategic position where you will be able to shape this innovative business, our client is additionally able to offer a consistently growing and exciting environment. This particular vacancy will be in our client''s office in Cheshire.
This position will focus on strategic delivery and content generation, and does not have an operational aspect though line management opportunities will exist. This will involve assimilating market, therapy area and product information in order to provide consultancy advice on marketing strategy. This will be a position with abroad and interesting mix of responsibilities; Medical Writing, Business Development and high level pitch proposals, project managing and budgeting.
Our client is ideally looking for an experienced Scientific Director, Principal Writer or equivalent (with proficiency in working across a broad range of medical education initiatives (publications and commercial). It will therefore be important that the candidate has Medical Communications agency experience for this particular role.
