Background:
Our Berkshire-based client is a high-profile company that offers fully integrated clinical, commercial, and consulting services worldwide. Our client is looking for talented and innovative individuals who are passionate about healthcare communication to support sustained and profitable growth across the company. Amongst other client services positions, our client is currently seeking to recruit a Senior / Account Manager to support its clinical trial communications. This position will suit an Account Manager with previous experience developing patient recruitment materials or a Senior Account Executive looking for career progression.
Key responsibilities:

Take responsibility for assigned accounts addressing all aspects of project and programme development, management, and delivery.

Assume financial accountability for assigned projects, with optimisation of profitability.

Contribute to the development and revision of budgets and work schedules and ensure that projects are delivered according to agreed budgets and timelines.

Assess the scope of projects and allocate resources appropriately.
-
Take responsibility for delivery of projects of an exceptional quality that meet client expectation.
-
Maintain good internal working relationships at all times and take a proactive approach to key client and investigator relationships.
-
Comply with, and endorse, company procedures.
Experience required:
-
Degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, marketing, or other relevant area.

At least 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or agency environments, with at least 1 years’ experience in a medical communications agency.

Previous experience in an account management or project management role.

Proven experience in the management and delivery of clinical trials communications and investigator training meetings.

Experience of financial management or ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of financial processes.

Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong team mentality.

Proven project management and organisational skills,
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time management, with the ability to work effectively to tight timelines and adapt to changing priorities.
