Are you a Senior Medical Writer with the experience, skills and application to progress to Principal Writer? If so, we want to hear from you!

With an industry-leading team of more than 50 medical writers, account directors and marketing consultants, *our client* is a highly respected healthcare communications consultancy based in Oxford
Due to continued growth we are seeking talented Senior Medical Writers to join our highly successful editorial teams. With immediate opportunities to support the development of new and existing accounts there is the potential for rapid progression to the role of Principal Writer or Team Leader.

Successful candidates will have:
>significant writing expertise gained in an agency environment (= 2 years). This should include the development of abstracts, posters, primary and secondary manuscripts, and review articles
>a good understanding of publication planning and ethical publication practices
>experience mentoring less experienced members of an editorial team
>excellent writing, budgetary and client/author liaison skills
>the confidence to assist in the development of new business when required
>enthusiasm for the development of innovative communications solutions
>a flexible attitude towards type of work, travel and new learning
>a life sciences degree and ideally a PhD
>experience in cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, oncology or pharmacoepidemiology (advantageous but not essential).
