Background:
Our client is a world leading company aspiring to be the best in the discovery and development of important therapeutics. They are currently seeking a Medical Advisor / Senior Medical Advisor for a 12 month contract at their Cambridge office. This contract can be offered as at 1.0 or 0.8 FTE.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Develops study protocols and data analysis plans for local studies
Supporting and executing protocol preparation, filing, review and approval
Participates in the development of International strategies and tactics
Ensures appropriate local review prior to IPRC submission
Partners with the Business Manager in the development and execution of lifecycle management plans
Oversees in-sourced/outsourced Medical programs and logistics
Provides Medical expertise for pipeline products
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
GMC registered
In depth working knowledge of ABPI
Previous experience as a Medical Advisor
Development experience would be beneficial
Oncology experience would be ideal
PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Strong communication skills
