A creative, Healthcare Communications agency is looking for a Strategic Planner to join their successful London team. This is a role which will report directly to the MD and also work closely with other colleagues (the accounts and creative teams, for example) to provide the best possible work. To be considered you must have an excellent track record as a Strategic Planner for a Healthcare/Medical Communications/Healthcare Advertising company and know the industry inside out. An ability to work with colleagues at all levels and an analytical mindset should be teamed up with professional integrity and vision for this high-strategy role.
A few key elements of this position include:
- Supporting the copy and creative teams
- Leading and participating in strategy development
- Presenting research and strategy findings to clients
- Working with the account team to craft creative briefs
- Designing and monitoring the design of topic reports and questionnaires
- Moderating focus groups and developing implications and recommendations
- Monitoring and interpreting cultural/social trends
You should be able to hit the ground running, coming up with ideas quickly and efficiently and also know how to implement them and what time scales ought to be worked to. A real passion for brands and consumer engagement is also essential for this position, some technical/scientific knowledge and plenty of healthcare product specialist knowledge would also be considered valuable. You should have a deep understanding of Healthcare Communications and be able to demonstrate this understanding. Previous experience as a Strategic Planner for a similar agency is ideal.
