A dedicated and highly experienced communications agency hascreated an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Manager to join their innovativeteam in North London. The successful candidate will also be a member of themanagement team.

The role will focus on scheduling resources across thedifferent disciplines: Medical communications, Medical writing and Eventmanagement and improving staff utilisation. You must have well-developedorganisational skills and be confident working with department heads to ensurethe right skills are being deployed on the right jobs. You will be responsibleto holding weekly resource meeting with Project Managers, Account Managers andDepartment Heads. 

You will manage recruitment of freelancers but also usedirect people where possible. Your role will include building the freelancepool, managing relationships, negotiating contracts, rates etc. and managingRecruitment Agencies. You will also be responsible for setting up all freelancenew starters; ensuring commercial contracts are in place and new starterprocess followed.

To be a successful candidate for this role you will have agood understanding of agencies and their associated project managementprocesses and project dependencies. You will be proactive, insightful and havethe ability to understand the impact of conflicting project scenarios and putin measures to contain risks.

The role requires least 3 years’ relevant experience in asimilar role within a communications agency and there will be the option offlexible working.
