Job Details:

Our client is an award-winning, integrated healthcare communications agency based in the heart of London that works on behalf of pharmaceutical and life science companies, patient advocacy groups and other healthcare providers.

They are currently looking for an Account Director/Senior Account Director who will be involved in delivering integrated communications programmes that will ideally combine market access and traditional medical communications activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic integrated communications programmes aligned with your clients’ business challenges and priorities
  • Oversee accounts to ensure efficiencies in programme management, staffing and budgeting
  • Lead account teams and actively coach and develop junior team members
  • Maximise current client business opportunities through organic growth
  • Help drive and support new business activities, including taking lead roles in new business pitch opportunities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Graduate in Life sciences
  • Significant previous healthcare communications agency experience, ideally with a strong focus on medical communications
  • Experience dealing with change drivers in the NHS environment
  • Ability to mentor more junior members of the team
  • Good strategic and creative thinking skills and advanced problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Highly developed computer literacy
  • Financial and business acumen
