Job Details:

Our client is looking for a driven and results focused Account Director, for a role which will see you work across a range of interesting clients in animal health.

This is a diverse and dynamic agency, who have won lots of awards for their work output and their work culture. The are looking for an Account Director to join their Client Services team to play a leading role in client relationships, including accountability for client programmes and growth.

You responsibilities will vary greatly depending on which client you’re working across but they will include programme management across earned, paid and owned integrated communications, along with overseeing client relationships and managing high quality programmes. You will ensure commercial success and have a really proactive mindset when it comes to growth.

Day-to-day you are the lead for clients and will act as senior support at key milestone, making sure to troubleshoot any relationship issues and enact account management techniques in order to grow current accounts.

As Account Director you will manage and motivate your team, ensuring great performance which allows them to hit their full potential.

You should have experience in a busy communications/marketing agency and experience across animal health/agriculture would be an advantage. We welcome candidates with an agency background who have worked across clients in animal health and agriculture. Perhaps your background is from a similar field such as farm animal production systems in developed and developing markets?


The role:

- You will act as the lead across client relationships and programmes. Including overseeing all aspects of client accounts from taking the brief all the eay through to delivery of integrated communications.

- Take accountability for client development and growth.

- Measure success of all projects and programmes in order to achieve a meaningful client outcome.

- Encourage a creative culture.

- Work as part of the creative process.

- Manage budgets - with a focus on revenue recognition and metrics.

- Work with the business development team and senior cleint team to support lead generation.

- Support and lead the deliver or operational management including team building, training and operational activity,

- Champion and build team connection. Help team develop training plans and excel.
