We are seeking an ambitious Account Manager with a passion for scientific excellence to join our friendly accounts team.

As an Account Manager, you will work closely with our Editorial Leads, Medical Writers and Senior Accounts team to deliver across a wide range of projects. You will be responsible for managing relationships between Meridian and our largest global client to ensure our projects meet the needs of all key stakeholder groups.

Your role will include:
  •  Actively participating in and contributing to management meetings that have a direct impact on the business
  •  Advising and assisting in the planning and initiation of projects to make sure they fit with our clients short, medium and long term objectives
  •  Managing project trackers to ensure delivery on schedule and within budget
  •  Providing financial management of assigned accounts, including invoicing and reconciliation
  •  Line managing junior members of the accounts team
The ideal candidate will have worked in a medical communications agency for a minimum of 3 years and will have experience across a broad range of medical communication outputs. We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual who will embrace our ethos of delivering scientific excellence through collegiate working, open communication and building trusted partnerships with our clients.
This is a key role within the team so we’re looking for an outgoing and communicative approach to project management, a willingness to engage with other colleagues and third party suppliers and an ability to think flexibly.

This full-time position is based at our office in Plumley, Cheshire.
