Job Details:
We are currently recruiting lab technicians to work in a hospital based clinical trial unit.  The successful candidates will
conduct laboratory processes according to HTA, ICH GCP, Ethical, Regulatory requirements, Health and Safety and Policies and Procedures. Assists in ensuring the availability of all laboratory sample handling materials and training to perform the laboratory activities. Maintains accurate and complete records consistent with company policy and legal and regulatory requirements. Attends regular HTA, safety, and GxP update training. Recognizes potential safety problems and takes actions to rectify them. Responsible for the delivery of the outputs requested by the organization within the timeframe requested and to the agreed budget. Proactively seek assistance from other colleagues to solve problems. Ensures and follows safe practices. Assists in day to day maintenance of laboratory equipment. Assists in receipt, processing, tracking and storage of study laboratory samples. Assists in dispatch and shipment of daily routine safety and screening laboratory samples. Demonstrates understanding of SOPs and policies. Requirements: Good verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills. Self-motivated. Works well in a team. Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. Has a recognised qualification in specialist area of expertise. Previous laboratory experience essential.
