Business Development Manager, Nordics - NGS/Bioinformatics

For a major Life-science Research company active in the field of molecular diagnostics we are now looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who would be incharge representing their premier Bioinformatics solution to life-science research and discovery market across Nordics.

Focus will be on generating new business, growing, and maintaining existing customer accounts across the pharmaceutical, biotech, for profit, government, hospital/medical, academic, and non-profit market.

Location :- Denmark

Your Tasks

  • As part of our European sales team in the field of bioinformatics you will work closely with Sales, Marketing & Scientific Support teams.
  • You will contact and visit current and prospective customers, including genome centres and consortium, on a consistent and systematic basis to develop and bring to closure software license orders on both new and renewal business.
  • As part of your tasks you will rapidly develop and grow business with service providers and commercial partners as well as the engagement and support of sales partners.
  • To give your current and prospective customers the key insights to our product portfolio you will demonstrate it in person, by phone or via webinar and also coordinate attendance to web-based and on-site classes for any required training and support.
  • You will develop and maintain a pipeline of well qualified opportunities to meet and exceed all assigned business objectives, performance requirements and sales order quotas on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.


  • Education in the field of Biology, Bioinformatics and/or Biomedical Science; ideally with a focus on NGS/Bioinformatics
  • Atleast 1 year of direct selling experience of NGS, Genomics or Bioinformatics related solutions
  • Fluent Danish or Swedish
