Job Details:

I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, focused on medical education.
The primary goal of the BDM will be to drive new business activities including initiating conversations with relevant medical affairs teams, putting together pitch/creds decks, developing client relationships, and securing new accounts.
The Business Development Manager will work with senior stakeholders to develop sales plans and forecasts, with accurate monthly reporting on pipeline and closed deals. They will work closely with the Accounts Management team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery and continue to nurture client relationships to increase organic growth.

Requirements:
- Efficient reporting using a sales CRM (HubSpot experience an advantage)
- Knowledge of sales and marketing planning, and long-term strategy setting
- Proven sales experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, ideally within medical education
- Effective pitching
- Previous sales experience
