My client, a well renowned leader in the field of Inspection and Certification, is currently looking for a ELECTRICAL ENGINEER close to Amsterdam, in one of the regions with the highest quality of life in the Netherlands.

The job:
As a Test Engineer you will work with the latest technologies in products in the field of electrical and gas products. You will test these products to see if they meet the standards in the field of electrical safety after which they can safely enter the market. Many of the products will also be equipped with radio technology (WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM, UMTS, LTE etc.).

Your main tasks & responsibilities:
* Perform electrical safety tests for new products;
* Building test systems or measuring setups and measuring them;
* Checking and interpreting measurement data in consultation with the Product Manager;
* Processing of acquired measurement data in a report;
* Carrying out inspections in the presence of customers;
* Report identified imperfections in equipment, procedures and / or systems;

Requirements:

* A completed technical study at a minimum of vocational (+) / bachelor level;
* Interested in (electrical) operation of products;
* The ambition to continuously develop yourself;
* You are well able to work in a team, but also independently;
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
* Good command of the English language and willing to learn Dutch;
* You are willing to travel occasionally for on-site testing.
