A very exciting opportunity for an Editorial Assistant has arisen within a Medical Communications agency based at their offices in Kent.
Working in a vibrant and friendly team, the key purpose of the Editorial Assistant is to ensure that written material produced by the editorial staff is of the highest quality at all stages of development by having input into a wide range of printed and multimedia materials.

This diverse role will see you supporting all strategic elements of medical education programmes including materials development, publication planning as well as scientific meetings.
As editorial assistant you will assist in taking control of all publications and will see that all deadlines are met, taking the project from the approved manuscript stage through to completion.

Skills & Experience required:-

•A proven aptitude for QC/proofing/editing
•A good knowledge of MS Word and PPT
•Degree in a relevant subject (eg English, Biological/Life Sciences)
•Knowledge of PDF marking up tools eg Adobe Acrobat Pro would be an advantage
•Previous editorial experience in a medical communications agency or in a relevant field – eg publishing, writing, other type of communications agency – desirable
