Field Support Scientist - Molecular Biology

If you have always worked in the laboratory, and you reached a point where you would like to try something different, here is an exciting opportunity not to miss out. You will not drift away from your scientific experience, as you will continue to use your knowledge to engage with the laboratories in Austria and become their go-to person for a range of diagnostic instruments and services. You will become the link between the customers and the commercial team, helping them maintain the existing customers in the area, as well as gain new business. With your background it will be easy to understand the product portfolio, and after some training you will successfully support the laboratories in the respective territory. By holding product demonstrations and providing the training you will be helping the company maintain customer satisfaction, and you will influence any possible improvements that can be made.

This position is home-based, and you will be provided a company car, as you will be visiting customers 70% of the time in Austria, once the restrictions make it possible to travel freely.

The requirements:

A Master`s degree in biology minimum (PhD preferred)

Experience in microbiology and/or molecular techniques

Ideally customer oriented experience, in a comparable position

Previous experience with laboratory automated systems

Native German, fluent in English

Strong communication skills, people oriented personality

Ability to travel extensively
