Opportunity

As part of the new Precision Engagement Group we are recruiting an experienced project manager to realise the AiHC purpose Science with Insight: Delivered with Impact by supporting a senior team to build expertise and execute projects in collaboration with our agency colleagues. The role is an opportunity to be part of a large team that provides new levels of expertise for our clients, to make a greater impact in healthcare.

 

The Precision Engagement Group

As we collaborate closely as communications agencies, we have seen the opportunity to combine forces and bring greater strength to our work. We are therefore bringing core resources together as The Precision Engagement Group (PEG) to provide expertise and capability in four areas to power impact and insight across agencies. These areas include Digital Engagement, Creative Direction, Behavioural Science and Data Science. The PEG will provide complimentary services and capability to ensure our teams make the strongest impact in healthcare. The group is being built by bringing together internal expertise and by recruiting specialists in each discipline.

 

Job Purpose

To enable the PEG team to consult and contribute widely across agency projects and business opportunities to deliver highly effective capabilities and capacity.

 

Outline Job Role 

  • Be a first point of contact for agency teams to provide optimal responses by PEG to client opportunity
  • Implement and manage processes for innovation, consultation, business development and project delivery
  • Manage briefings, resourcing, and schedule management to integrate workflow with project teams across agencies.
  • Manage supplier relationships, creating a roster of reliable external support and implement due diligence, contracting, compliance, on boarding and feedback
  • Manage workflow in the group and balance internal and external resources so that the senior team consults and advises while inhouse managers and external partners deliver work.
  • Build and manage an internal online hub for PEG resources and training, and a growing collection of materials to support innovation areas (Practice Areas)
  • With Senior leaders manage thought leadership projects to build external recognition of PEG expertise ˃ Create and manage entries for industry awards

 

Experience Required
Demonstrated experience in medical communications working for global bio-pharmaceutical clients.

 

Working knowledge of medical and scientific communications, publications planning, medical education, medical congress support, internal communications.

 

Experience of working in a creative digital environment and of omnichannel communication programmes. A proven record of successfully managing projects to deliver benefits for agency teams and clients with have attention to detail and follow through. You are likely to be analytical and rational, thinking processes when dealing with complex tasks for you or others.

 

You are proactive, self-motivated and well-structured. Your motivation is to make the team succeed more than to profile yourself and make yourself succeed. Flexibility and a hunger to take up new projects in a rapidly changing environment with lots of moving tasks. Degree level education or above.

Skills Expected

Highly effective team-work and interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to work and problem solving.

 

Persuasive ability to ensure busy teams keep to process and timelines and see the benefits of doing so.

 

Imaginative approach to identifying and managing external suppliers, freelancers and senior contractors. Also expected that the candidate will bring some of their own creativity to the role.
