Software Engineer - Image processing (Sensors) - Zurich
For a 12 month contractual period, our client is offering the chance to work with them and gain exposure to some of the industry top products / software within Virtual Reality, Augumented reality and honing in on sensory development - this will be for new and existing products.
In this opportunity, you will collaborate with external vendors to develop their sensors. The department is split into two - one part is keeping communication for design and development of the sensor. Reviewing documentation, parts and giving feedback for the sensor design.
The other part is they have a 1st generation in house design sensor (prototypes). They use this to collect data to understand the performance of the sensor and help with the design of the NG sensor. This will be your core responsibility.
You will be responsible for collecting data analysing data and connect this data with the sensor performance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential experience is basic knowledge of image sensor processing - hardware block experience.
Proficient in c++ or python
Ideally labware tools used for image processing - to extract image quality metrics for the batch of data.
ability to process images.
1 years industry experience, outside of internship and academia
