Meridian HealthComms is an established and expanding medical communications agency located in Plumley, Cheshire, and Manchester City Centre, UK.  We provide specialist, high-quality healthcare communications services to the international pharmaceutical industry.  We pride ourselves on our consistently high standards in editorial quality, our professional and experienced account management, and proactive, creative approach to meeting communications objectives.

Your qualifications
·  A PhD or equivalent in a relevant biological or life science
·  Experience of scientific writing, particularly abstracts, posters, manuscripts, reviews and  slides
·  Your writing experience may have been gained in university-based research institutions, the pharmaceutical industry or a medical communications agency
·  Demonstrable ability to manage competing projects and deliver projects to strict deadlines.

Your responsibilities
·  Writing grammatically and scientifically accurate documents on a variety of therapeutic areas, on time and on budget
·  Produce a range of written communications according to the needs of the client, audience and communication medium
·  Liaising and negotiating with healthcare professionals and clients in the development of scientific data for publication or presentation
·  Contributing creative ideas and scientific expertise to add value to projects.
