Summary

I am recruiting for a new Drug Safety Manager position at a well-established top 10 CRO based in Central London. This company have won numerous awards every year for being one of the best companies to work for due to their excellent reputation within the clinical trials space. This company partners with the top biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries covering services within Phase I- IV across a range of therapy areas.

Due to European expansion, this company are now looking for a Drug Safety Manager to manage Clinical Safety activities and multiple large programs. It is imperative the right candidate has a strong Drug Safety background and Project Management experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing clients and stakeholders
  • Overseeing the Clinical Safety case management and aggregate reporting responsibilities
  • Safety review of clinical study documents such as protocols and study reports
  • Creation of SMPs
  • Business development activities- presentations to sponsors, sponsor audits and costing
  • Writing departmental SOPs and Work Instructions

Requirements:

  • Life Science degree
  • Previous strong Clinical Drug Safety experience
  • CRO experience
  • Must have project management experience
  • Ideally Line Management experience
  • Experience writing department SOPs and Work Instructions
  • Knowledge of safety regulatory requirements
  • Competencies should include: Leadership, communication, teamwork and motivational skills
  • Must be able to work in the UK without sponsorship
