Procurement Specialist - 3rd Party Packaging - NL
Working within a department of 5 and reporting into the procurement manager, this role is primarily focused on 3PL and packaging. Our client boasts a rich history in assisting with vaccine development through their novel product range that works for their clients within drug development. The pandemic has worked to further catapult this organisation and now they seek a Procurement expert to work closely with the supply chain and distribution team.
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you are expected to be responsible for sourcing and procurement within EMEA
This will involve working with process improvements for invoicing and outstanding POS. Such work will involve looking at the back end, working with leading procurement strategy and global sourcing.
As such, you are also responsible to Lead and structure market research in connection with upcoming RFPs and shortlisting of suppliers.
Delivering cost savings against the agreed sourcing strategies and reporting both the bottom line and cost avoidance savings.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Proven procurement experience, particularly around 3PL and Packaging
A Bachelor''s degree within Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Life Science disciplines is preferred.
Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, vendor relations etc.
