Come work as a QC Microbiologist in Manufacturing Department for an Animal Health pharmaceuticals company in the heart of Germany, near Frankfurt, that is specialising in the production of veterinary medicinal products for the national and international market.

Key Requirements for the QC Microbiologist in Manufacturing Department:

  • Completed professional education as a Microbiologist or in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Biology
  • Working level fluency in German and English
  • +1 year working in a GMP pharma environment

Desired skills

  • Experience of manufacturing in the aseptic environment a distinct advantage;
  • Experience in microbiological QC (bioburden, endotoxin testing, sterility) a distinct advantage;


  • Support the site contamination control strategy by performance of environmental monitoring (air sedimentation, aspiration, contact plates surface control) and reading results;
  • Participation in validation of microbiological methods (disinfectants qualification, growth media qualification);
  • Performance of BET analysis;
  • Water sapling and quality control, generation of control reports;
  • Handling of biological indicators (BIs), participation in qualification of sterilisation processes;
  • Participation in OOS results investigation, CAPA analysis and risks assessment;
  • Training and supervision of personnel in hygiene and aseptic manipulations (qualification of aseptic gowning technique);
  • Participation in Media Fill test runs (support of manufacturing, performing in process controls, reading the results, creation of protocols);
  • Microorganism''s identification (gram-staining, biochemical tests);
  • Preparation and quality control of growth media in laboratory;
  • Support and training of cleaning stuff with the aim to maintain state of clean rooms according to the current GMP requirements;
  • Preparation and sterilisation of laboratory used materials;
  • General microbiological laboratory activities and maintenance of laboratory safety status as a routine.
