Regulatory Specialist - Cosmetics and FMCG regulations

Our client is a producer of household products offering efficient alternatives to some of the leading brands. With a broad range of products not just limited to cleaning products, this is a role that will offer unheard of exposure to every piece of European legislation making you an all rounded regulatory individual. This is a support role to the current department manager and will involve not just regulatory issues but also quality management systems also.

This is a unique position for those either at an early stage within their regulatory career in cosmetics or a formulation background within cosmetics and a keen interest to move into regulatory affairs.

You will work on checking supplier compliance to cosmetic regulations, compiling Product Information Packages (PIP but previously PIF)

As a Regulatory Officer you will work on safety Assessments, product registration for cosmetics and Labelling. There will be reviewing artwork and labelling.

This position will involve being training in animal feed regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educated to degree level within a scientific discipline. Degrees associated with Formulation or Cosmetics will be welcomed

Ideally Regulatory experience within Cosmetics and cosmetic regulations or Product Information Files (PIF).

Those with a Cosmetic formulation background with brief regulatory experience in cosmetics or other regulatory disciplines will be considered.

Ability to be based close to the site full-time 5 days per week (North West)
