International software house specialized in the production and commercialization of vision systems for pharmaceutical and packaging companies all over the world, is currently looking for a Sales Area Manager to support its business growth in the German market.

The company, which has more than 20-year history in the international markets, is headquartered in Lombardia and counts about 30 offices worldwide. It strives to provide the pharmaceutical industry with the highest-quality vision systems, which are then able to run any control on the packaging lines in an easy and safe way.

He/she will report to the company Sales Director exclusively and will be part of a well-established and supportive commercial team made of 10 professionals. He/she will work autonomously on the whole region, with the possibility to become the future country manager and single point of contact for the whole DACH area. Description of role:
The role will involve field-based territory sales management covering key account management, prospecting and networking for new sales opportunities, providing accurate sales forecasts and delivery of sales revenue targets.

Overall responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of quarterly and annual sales revenue targets, provision of detailed sales territory plans and execution of these across all markets in the DACH region
  • Provide technical solutions to the clients in the software/packaging control sector (medical device industry)
  • Building and maintaining long term relationships with customers
  • Coordinate the network of sellers in the area
  • Contribute to the delivery of annual sales and marketing plans in the DACH regions
  • Become the packaging subject matter expert in the requirements of the DACH markets; feeding this information into the development of future product lines
  • Develop and nurture a network in the territory


  • A degree in Engineering, Economics, or Linguistic Mediation
  • Minimum 3-year Sales experience (ideally in the DACH markets)
  • Technical knowledge related to the packaging industry
  • Professional proficiency in German (C1/C2)
  • Professional proficiency in English (B2/C1)

Contract: permanent
