Job Summary:

Do you want to advance your sales career within the Life Science industry?

My client, an established Danish company, is recruiting a Sales Manager to lead their commercial team and drive sales within Denmark. This role is a great opportunity to further develop your leadership skills, and to make a difference in the life science and clinical sector, helping customers with their laboratory processes. It provides with a chance to grow and develop new markets while backing fantastic products which will open the doors to many customers and important industry players. The company is present in the Danish market for over 50 years and has established a strong national customer base, in addition to doing business Europe-wide through distributors. This position offers a lot of flexibility, allowing you to implement and devise strategic commercial plans, enabling you to leave your mark in the company and truly make a difference.

Requirements:

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for everyone with sales function achieving sales and profit targets.
    * Budget responsibility, devising strategy at customer level in collaboration with sales people.
    * Training, development of employees, including joint visits with Key Account Managers
    * Meeting and visiting the customers, developing the collaboration with new and larger client base.
    * Demonstrate strategic agility in approach to customers and varying projects, be able to identify trends and opportunities that will generate sales.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in the scientific subject is merited(chemistry, biology, etc.)
    * Fully proficient in Danish and English.
    * Previous experience in technical sales, preferably within laboratory sales.
    * People management experience is required.
    * Team player, driven, goal-oriented person with a positive outlook.
    * Strong negotiation skills essential.
    * Willingness to travel approx. 2 days per week in Denmark.
    * Suitable location as office presence in Aarhus area is required.
