Job Details:
Our client is a successful full-service medical communications agency and a market leader who has offices around the world. They are currently looking for a Scientific Director to join their team in Oxfordshire.

In this role, you will drive the editorial leadership of the account teams through effective line management and coaching while providing your high-level scientific, strategic, and marketing insight to innovative and

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of a full range of high-quality medical communication services
  • Design and support delivery of creative communications including congress activities, advisory boards, standalone meetings, digital and training materials
  • Through effective line management and coaching ensure training, development, and appraisal of all line reports
  • Contribute to pitches, new business development, and the development of existing accounts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Life Science Degree – preferably a PhD or PharmD
  • Significant previous writing experience in a medical communications agency
  • Able to demonstrate strategic and tactical thinking
  • Strong capability for financial management
  • Interest and understanding of developments in the healthcare industry worldwide
  • Previous account leadership experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
