Job Details:

Due to company growth we are looking to recruit medical writers to join our in-house team. We offer fantastic opportunities for career development. You will receive full support, training and guidance within an established, professional team with an excellent reputation in their specialist field.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals with an interest in medical communications to join our medical writing team. The role will involve the planning and writing of a wide range of market access materials and journal articles in collaboration with in-house teams of specialists.

Other duties will include:

  • Bespoke research on healthcare interventions and therapeutic areas
  • Analysing clinical studies
  • Proofreading and editing of written material
  • Communication both via telephone, email and in-person with co-authors and clients

Requirements

You will have a PhD in a relevant scientific subject, and excellent writing and proofreading skills. Prior experience as a medical writer in a similar medical communications setting would be highly beneficial.

The role requires good communication and organisational skills and attention to detail. You must also have the ability to understand clinical data and to comprehend new therapeutic areas quickly and effectively. Some background knowledge of healthcare systems and clinical trials would be an advantage. You must be proficient with Microsoft Word and be able to use Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel. An understanding of bibliography databases, such as EndNote, would also be desirable.
