KA/230918/3 - Clinical Training Specialist - Innovative Diabetes Products - South Wales, UK

An opportunity as a Clinical Training Specialist has become available with a medical device company who specialise in providing innovative diabetes devices to the UK & International markets. The main focus for this position will be the South of Wales and will see you collaborating closely with the sales and market access teams to achieve targets for the region.

This company have a constant pipeline of products coming through and with 80% of diabetes sufferers not getting the care that they need; your role will be a critical part of the UK team in terms of educating endocrinologists, diabetes patients and other ends users across the South of Wales.

As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for providing all applicational training and demonstrating the value of these devices to endocrinologists, doctors, KOL''s and end users across clinics/homes around Wales. You will work closely with sales, marketing and market access to report back on KOL interviews and market data to increase the profitability of the product portfolio and help to expand this company''s reputation across the UK market.

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses (or those with a clinical background) to make the move into industry and work with one of the best products within the diabetes market. You will receive all the training you need to help you transition into the role and will join a supportive team who are there to guide you on your journey.

Key requirements for this Clinical Training Specialist position include:

  • A strong background in diabetes, or other healthcare discipline. This position is open to candidates who are looking for their first position in the medical device industry.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to work with technical products
  • A strong commercial mind-set and interest in training customers and end users
  • This position will be covering the South of Wales so preference will go to candidates who are centrally based within the territory.
